This logo update for a small Lutheran church in Denver reflects this congregation’s application of old theology in a contemporary setting. The imagery and typography borrow from German blackletter typography — from before the development of printing, and the architectural geometry seen in European cathedrals. The rich colors are inspired by aged ink colors on old manuscripts. The single-color, bold design is also intentional: it is readable and scales well to any size applications, and is cost-effective for screen printing and signage.
